If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The 
long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the 
rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering 
experience…I will dispense this advice now. 

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh, never mind; you will not 
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust 
me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you 
can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you 
really looked….You’re not as fat as you imagine. 

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective 
as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles 
in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the 
kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday. 

Do one thing everyday that scares you 

Sing 

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are 
reckless with yours. 

Floss 

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re 
behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself. 

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in 
doing this, tell me how. 

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements. 

Stretch 

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…the 
most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with 
their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t. 

Get plenty of calcium. 

Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone. 

Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe you 
won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky chicken on 
your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t congratulate yourself 
too much or berate yourself either – your choices are half chance, so are 
everybody else’s. Enjoy your body, use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of 
it, or what other people think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever 
own. 

Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room. 

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them. 

Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly. 

Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for good. 

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the people 
most likely to stick with you in the future. 

Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you should hold 
on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography in lifestyle because the older 
you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young. 

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live in 
Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. 

Travel. 

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will 
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize that when 
you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children 
respected their elders. 

Respect your elders. 

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe 
you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out. 

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you’re 40, it will look 85. 

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. 
Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from 
the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than 
it’s worth.

I think most of the guys will answer a big YES to this question, but I doubt to this answer. The internet has grown so much in recent years that it has become a hefty pool of phishing and hack attacks that even most educated, aware people of internet may get easily deceived by these kinds of attacks.
So here goes my personal experience, due to which most of the guys graduating with me have started calling me by the name “Bond”:
Orkut is the most hyped and most successful social networking site today. It was Sunday March 4th 2007 morning, an idea struck my mind, and it was to do something to fetch the Orkut accounts of my friends just to amaze them.
I recalled an incident two years back happened to me; it was a yahoo login phishing page to fetch username and password. I was deceived by that. So I made a similar plan, I knew HTML (hypertext markup language) and PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) so the steps in which I made the phishing page are:

1. Designed Orkut login phishing page in PHP backed by a txt file which would store the username and password of the person who would get deceived and enter his/her username and password to this phishing page.
2. Uploaded to a free web hosting server that supports PHP scripting.
3. Sent the scrap of this phishing page link to all my friends in a deceiving manner (mind it! Most of them are computer science students some even at IITs, IIITs and NITs).
I had to scrap to more than 100 people in my friend list, and I didn’t expect much success of my plan. Surprisingly the plan was very successful, this time its 8 March 2007 evening and at present total number of usernames and passwords I have fetched are nearly 59. It’s a whopping figure. What I did with these usernames and passwords? I just SMSed the password to the corresponding friend and then he/she made call to me totally transfixed. I just explained to them how it all happened and to go and change his/her password and carefully login into accounts in future. I want to aware all the people that internet is not as safe as they think. I wish to join some Anti-phishing group in future to aware people how to be safe on internet and I apologize for what I did (it was just social engineering done to amaze my computer science batch mates and I wish I will not have any legal action against me as nobody is going to complain against me, neither I broke any copyright laws nor I did any change in information and the punishment is in case of fraud. I did no fraud, I did it openly within my friend circle and I have not even logged into any of the accounts.) I have already deleted those files from the server.

I have fetched so many usernames and passwords of my friends so easily. Some the guys had their crush or gf name as their passwords So do you think Internet is really safe? Yes, it is if you use it wisely and smartly. (Moral of the story is don’t have your gf name as your password. Ha Ha!!!)

me: answered all of them confidently. couldnt answer piggy backing i cud not recall.
he said good to my answer regarding ip address.

x: so do u have gf and how many?

me: 1

x: its bad try having 4-5 atleast. do ur parents know abt that?

me: no

x: are u afraid?

me: no if i get placed i will tell them.

x: do u have any questions?

me: said NO in a bit confused state.

x: no ask atleast one question

me: ok sir. so wats cmmi?

x: he xplaind all abt cmmi very nicely taking 3-4 minutes in detail. and asked me to

repeat wat he xplaind

me: i xplaind confidently. and i asked another question…. “when we were given

instructions abt giving aptitude test they told not to click on a section that we

already finished,it will wash out everything. so i saw the test was designed in php .

why dont u remove that error? or is it delibrately put?

x: “u know wen u work in a company u have lots of stress , so its delibrately put so tht

we can check ur stress resistance while working.” thats it.

me: “thnx sir, have a nice day”. and i moved out hopefully that i will be selected.

HR INTERVIEW:

this was a new kind of hr interview. it was in group of nine candidates. so i was bit

tensed if i cud perform better relatively or not.

turn by turn everybody initially had to start from telling abt himself/herself. then

x wud grill u at one point or other.

my turn was last(9th) we were 9 ppl. most of them were from my college.
i told abt myself , parents etc. , then he asked abt my hobbies. i started with that

i like playing contract bridge. he never heard of that. so told me to xplain wats

that. i tried but he was not gettin. i told him its very complex game even its

scoring is very complex.

x: “complex game and famous how come i nver heard of that”.

me:i told him that it has international competitions and u can check sunday tribune

it has a puzzle regarding that. so i said other hobbies are designing websites.

x: so wats ur website? how many email ids do u have, wats the meaning of 0999 and bti in ur ids.

me: its nitinsingla.co.nr, around 4 email ids, 0999 was my scooter no. and bti is short name for bathinda.

x: wats the meangin of nr and how can i make a website of my own.

me: xplained him everything. told that its free domain.

x: ok so it will cost nothing.

me: not at all.

x: wat have u put up on ur site.

me: my resume, my vb.net stickynote project. u can donlaod this software and install

on ur pc. abt my hobbies etc etc…..it contains 4-5 webpages. address.

x: do u think putting address is safe on net.

me: dont think so. no problem

x: ya u r a boy so wats the problem. and gals wud check ur site and contact u gr8. u

must have put ur mobile no. and not the landline.

me: xactly sir. first time my gf got my no. from the site itself.

x: gr8 …so make my website…so that gals can contact me as well.

x: i guess interviewer was impressed. and he asked whether i have a pssprt? and have

u ever traveled out of india ? if we post u out of india, do u have any problem?

me: i have pssprt. never traveled out of india. no problem if posted anywhere outside

india.

and I WAS finally placed in tech mahindra…….did all the screaming stuff got the

offer letter as well.
